Some people live to work, Jeff has truly been working to live! Over the years he has traveled and sampled beers starting from the pubs of Buffalo, NY to the pubs of Scotland, the halls of Germany and then many more of the fine crafted beer establishments peppered throughout the USA, all while considering what a good beer should be. Jeff began brewing beer while he was studying to be a Mechanical Engineer. For over 20 years now his brews have been tasted and tested over and over again. Over the years, Jeff continues to immerse himself into researching and learning as much as he can to continually improve on each next batch. This effort is made not only in consideration to recipe formulation or what ingredients to use, but also in the equipment and processes to create a consistently good beer. Jeff's engineering background coupled with his love for building things have proven invaluable when he spent hundreds of hours fabricating the equipment to start this brewery. This, and the amazing support of his wife and family are the enormous factors which have allowed Nostrovia Brewing to become a reality! Although he would have a hard time choosing a favorite (like children), Jeff always has a special place in his heart for an easy drinking IPA or a smooth Oatmeal Stout!
